Long Weekend Diving Breaks

Flying out on a Thursday evening and back on Sunday night gives you a whole three days break - but only uses up one day out of your holiday allowance.  That - and the cheaper non Saturday flights - make these weekend diving breaks a best seller so check availability now as places are limited.

With an average winter sea temperature around 15c and summer sea temperatures over 20c it's no wonder that long weekend diving breaks here in Spain are so popular.   We have the best diving sites for over a 100km right here on our doorstep - all the dive schools from Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella etc all drive an hour and a half and more to get here!

Clear warm waters, large shoals of gilt head bream, anchovy, wrasse, as well as lobster, dolphin, octopus, cuttlefish & squids, moon (sun) fish, nudibranch, scorpion fish, conger and moray eels, groupers and much more - all of which are regularly spotted on our dives through wrecks, rock walls, reefs and underwater caves.

Dive sites

The local dive sites are regarded as being amongst the best this stretch of the Spanish Mediterranean coast has to offer, including famous sites such as Punta de la Mona, Marina del Este and Tres Picos etc.

Sites like Tres Picos & Chamboa are perfect at around 8m average for OW / beginners, but still offer spectacular scenery and a wealth of fish life around the 8m mark.   For more  experienced divers Punta de Mona has several sites varying from 15 - 50m where we often see Sun Fish as well as Red Coral. Cerro Gordo at 18m has a small cave or Condesto where at a depth of 24 - 27m you can find the wreck of a wooden ship populated with fish like Dorrados and Sargos.

For group bookings we can offer a days diving the wrecks at Gibraltar, or a day trip to Calahonda.
